Spring has sprung!

Well it's warming up out there- enough that we could set up our new pool! It's still a little chilly in the water for me but Kevin and Finley have been having a blast!






Here is Finley with his rock star wig- he's showing Granny in Scotland!



Also- with spending so much time outdoors, there is always something new to explore!
Here is our Hibiscus flower! Every morning a new flower opens! We always miss the actual process but it seems to happen within 10 minutes!



And here is my hydrangea- one of my favorites!

This is Finley's Northern Catalpa tree we planted on his first birthday! It's getting so big and pretty! You almost can't tell that he karate chopped a huge limb off the right side with a stick! This is his forced smile! Also- notice the brown patches of grass? That's where we had our tent- it's a double tent connected by an awning.


Here is Finley sampling a green bean from our garden.

Finley loves doodle bugs- or whatever you like to call them. I was fascinated/grossed out by this one- a mama bug carrying her babies. I wouldn't let him play with this one.



And finally- Finley has been making us smoothies with his blender outside. As you can see, it's a little light. I think he's brilliant of course- the beginning of a wonderful imagination! I love his face- he's going "Wooooooooooooo" making the blender noises. Then he serves us a smoothie and asks if we need a straw. Seriously!
